|
Activity & Plan |
Development of a Mesosphere-Thermosphere GCM of coupled dynamics, energetics, composition and chemistry (above 50km altitudes up to thermopause), by combining the following completed models. (1) a three-dimensional time-dependent model of dynamics (solving the momentum equations), (2) a one-dimensional time-dependent model of energetics and composition (including NO chemistry), (3) a one-dimensional time-dependent model of chemistry of minor-constituent. Especially, the momentum balance in the lower E-region is of interest at the moment. |
